My first was a 4 3/4" 3rd Generation Colt SAA made in 1982 when Colt's started chambering that model in that caliber shortly before discontinuing the gun from regular production.

After that was a 4" Model 24-3 although it took more almost 30 years after they were reintroduced at Skeeter Skelton's urging.

Lastly was one of the Lipsey's Special Ruger Blackhawk Flattop Bisleys with a 5 1/2" barrel made in 2008. I'm sure Skeeter would have had good things to say about that one too.

A can of Unique, some brass, large pistol primers and some 250 grain cast Keith Style bullets and I'm ready for anything. Although I don't generally shoot the more stout "Skeeter Load" in the Colt or S&W. The Ruger Bisley handles it with aplomb.

Certainly can't argue with your liking the 44s. I'll post my oldest, my newest, and one in between.

Moses’ sandals!! Amazing triple lock!!

Have owned several N frames over the years, but others wanted them worse than I did and I let them get away. Now only have a 696-1 and an original Charter bulldog. But have a Winchester and a Rossi lever guns that that love to shoot 44 specials.
