Well not really a project but I thought I would used them to make valve stem covers for my Jeep wheels. Got the idea from seeing them for sale commercially.
What have you made using used brass (besides reloads)?

Key chains, gave them to all the guys at the LGS for all the locks they have in the shop. Your choice of caliber and brass or that shiny kind :)

I bought two sets of .40(?) valve caps, it was just easier ;)

It's a nice gimmick though :)

I used to make pipe tools from 30-06 brass with a scraper glued in the case mouth. Local tobacco shop sold then for me. (that was maybe 30 years ago when I still smoked a pipe).

Hmmm. that gives me an idea. Remember those beaded doorway curtains from the hippie era. Love beads, I believe they were called. Frat brothers and red neck beer drinkers made a variation using pull tabs from beer cans. how about something similar made out of 45 ACP cases. We could call them Second Amendment drapes.

I use 9mm & 40S&W nickel plated brass for Our Father beads on my Soldier's Rosaries. I drill out the primer holes and crimp them together on an arbor press.

Have seen a few coffee tables made with brass that had been cut down and placed in rows and then either a large sheet of 3/8" thick glass mounted on top with double sided tape or some black rubber to keep the glass off the brass. One guy was selling 50 BMG brass that had been reworked into bottle openers. Frank
