My Dillon 550B is set up forsmall primers, which covers everything I have loaded so far. I need to load up some 45 ACP and would just as soon buy some small-primer brass rather than swap the primer assemblies on the press.

Once-fired, cleaned brass, 1,000 or 1,500 should do me. I don't mind paying for quality, as long as the quality is actually there.

I would appreciate suggestions as to which suppliers are most reliable with regard to quality and service. TIA

Dang, changing a Dillon 550 from small to large primers is pretty easy. If you already have large pistol primers and .45 ACP brass with large primer pockets, you're GTG. If you still want small primer pocket .45 ACP brass, I can start you off with the one that somehow got into my .45 ACP large primer pocket brass and put a hiccup in my last reloading session!;). Here are some good videos: Product Videos| RL550

Northeast Reloading (nereloading.com) has tumble cleaned, 45acp small primer nickel plated "Law Enforcement" brass for $52.99 for 500. I bought some a while back and it was 95% SPEER +P.

I ran them through my typical reprocessing regimen (SS pins in my tumbler, resized) and they appeared to me to have been once fired. I love them!

Cheers!

P.S. Please tell Mr. Nicolas Natoli that "STORMINORMAN sent ya'!":D
