4506-1 question

I have the chance to buy a 4506-1. I am wondering what was done during the -1 designation? It’s a low round count pistol and seems to be a good deal.

IIRC no lighting cuts on frame, square to round trigger guard and made barrel hood wider.

I have had a 4506 police trade in for ten years. It is an excellent firearm, arguably better a shooter than a 1911. It is sturdy, reliable and heavy enough to use as a club if out of ammo. Even people new to firearms enjoy shooting it.
