4506 trigger issue

I have a 4506 I had purchased and when firing the trigger feels like it has bottomed out it will not come back any further and you have to pull really hard to get it to fire any ideas on what might be the problem double action works fine

If you are familiar with the internals, try a complete dissassembly, thorough cleaning, and light re-lubrication first.
While you have the gun torn down, check the rear of the drawbar and the body of the disconnector for damage, and the disconnector/drawbar for free movement up and down.....look for evidence of contact between the inside surface of the drawbar and magazine(s). (May show up as small shiny spots or drag marks on the magazine body) Check the integrity of the trigger plunger and spring....this holds the drawbar in proper position. Check the levers for damage or burrs.
Check the hammer and sear for evidence of damage at contact points....bevel/angle on sear and SA step on hammer. Are you using OEM magazines?

I have had two of these handguns. One I was issued as Sheriff's Office carry gun. I still have that gun. Never had any problems with it, it is a fine firearm. I hope you solve your problem, as I am most happy with mine.

I tore it down cleaned and lubed it I didn't notice any major amount of wear or modification to any parts and ive tried factory and aftermarket mags great and accurate gun can cover the group easily with a skoal can lid 16 rnds from 15 yrds

Have you shot 3rd Gens before? The trigger on them is a little different than many others.
