I have a 4506 with adjustable sights. box, manual 3 mags. Maybe 500 rounds down the pipe. I dont see this model for sale very often. Are they rare?

Its the older, no dash squared trigger guard model.

Not so rare in Ohio. The market was flooded with all sorts of 3rd Gens last year. They bring $400-$550 depending on condition.

Police trade in 4506's have been in the retail market in previous years. It is getting a bit harder to find a really nice one, as of late. Rare? No.
A pristine privately owned 4506 may fetch a touch more than the price range already posted, but Bluejax01's assessment holds true around here.

Depends on which type it is. I see more of the -1 models with that configuration than I do the older, no dash squared trigger guard models.

I wouldn't call them rare, but as already mentioned, really nice ones are harder to find. I got lucky and found a pristine version in the box with three magazines, desiccant paper, and manual. Someone had installed a new set of Hogue rubber grips, but otherwise it was in original condition.
