This is a recent GB auction purchase that I was happy to win with the opening bid. I'm was very surprised no one else bid, I guess you guys missed it. Great shape with box and 3 mags, test fired almost 19 yrs ago 12/14/01.

My current Smith 45's - my 1917 is in the back of my safe.

Nice pistol.

A year ago I got myself a 4563, (CQB.) Although the TSW's have my interest I couldn't justify trying for that one.

I'm sure it's a very excellent pistol and I know you're really gonna like it.

I guess I should have also mentioned, I like your 45 Recon too. It’s startling to see an all silver one. Thanks for posting the picture.

I stumbled on an excellent all black one, for a very good price a few years ago. I got it in spite of the extended/ported barrel. I just had to have it for some reason.

Then I found out there were only 603, (in all the configurations total.) produced. That original number is lower now because “some” of them now have cut down/shortened barrels.

Thanks for the comments. I'll be shooting and carry this one too.
I had a non-railed 4513TSW that was traded away....

On the Recon 45, I try to ignore the extended ported barrel. I find the PC pistols are truly a class of their own, as we all know.
I was fortunate to find it and a Shorty 40 here locally from another forum member. He is a gentleman and takes a great picture

I have one PC 4563. Surprisingly, I like the trigger on my rail free 4563TSW better. Regards 18DAI
