I never seem them for sale anywhere
I called S&W maybe 6 months ago and was told they quit manufacturing the steel frame semi autos. I was told the same by a few retailers, including CDNN. You think these could be collectors pieces in 10 years? It's too hard for me to keep them unfired.
No he didn't answer his own question.
The S&W website lists many, many models that have been long discontinued. Most of the 3rd gen pistols are not being made anymore.
