457 Sights

Anyone know of where I can find any metal after market sights for a 457? BCMC Bill put me on the Trijicon SA28 and I've been scouring the good ole interwebs for that and the Big Dot but have come up short.

Curious - were the original sights damaged or are you just wanting something different?

Truthfully, I think I'll break the plastic sights since I want to use this pistol for carry.

For informational purposes, the front sight for the Trijicon SA28 and SA26 (for the 909/910 and 410) are the same. If in your search you found a SA26 you would at least have a front night sight.

Thanks! I will expand the search with these new parameters.

SA26 and SA28 sets share the same front sight with a .151 tall blade.

SA26 being for the model 410 and the SA28 for the 457.

The SA27 set is for the 909 and shares the same small frame/short rear sight as the SA26 set which is no bueno for a 457. But the front with a .132 tall blade will fit and might work better as there are reports aplenty of 457s tending to shoot low. A shorter front corrects that.

In short, a SA26 or 27 front paired with a 45xx Novak will work, or... a full SA28 set.

I did check with Trjicon to see if there might some old bits in a bin somewhere that could be lamped up... No Joy!
