460 Grips dissolved

Hi Guys,
The grips on my 460 VXR appear to have disintegrated, and it looks like attack by solvent. There is a black gooey liquid oozing out at the top of the backstrap.
I'm a bit confused as to what grips will fit it.
Hogue list S&W K, L, N, X, Z Frame Round Butt Rubber Tamer Conversion Monogrip Black ....Sku: 19022

Is this the equivalent of the factory grip or a grip to fit the smaller frames but make them feel like the X-frame grip?

That's the x frame tamer grip made for the 500 & 460. Yes. If you get Hoppes or other solvents on the soft rubber insert that is meant to protect the web of your hand it will dissolve. It's always best to take the grips off when you're cleaning the gun.

That's definitely the one you want. The only difference is it will be branded Hogue and not S&W...but literally no one will ever care.

The X frame has the same dimensions as the K/L frame round butt.
