I just purchased a new 460 XVR and am thinking about putting a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x32mm on it. I am interested in all good and bad feedback regarding scope especially if used in this combination. Concerned whether or not it can handle the beating from this gun.

A VX-3 should hold up to the recoil without any problems. I had one with different magnification on a Savage 300 Ultra Mag.
I used a Weigand mount and rings to put a scope on my XVR. They are less expensive than some other options and very well built.
