Took the 469 out yesterday.

24 shots total, 4 6rd strings.

Magtech 115gr FMJ.

It needs a new recoil spring, it failed to go into battery a few times. Not surprising as the gun was made when David Lee Roth was still the singer for Van Halen. I have a replacement ordered from Wolff .

It hits low with this ammo, but groups well. I raised my aim and got what you see.

Again, I think that I like this pistol better than its replacement. The 6906 to me is meh.

To be continued.

The 469 is a great little pistol. Springs are part of routine maintenance to keep it running right. You should get another 35-40 years out of it and then your grandchildren can see about taking care of it.

No kids, so at some point I'll be selling it, or my wife will after I take the dirt nap.

Both my 469's and 669's are great shooters , pretty accurate . I got a couple of the S&W extended mags , 20 rounds , which fit them . I load them up and go blasting with a smile on my face .
