49 holster

hey guys,Whats a good cc holster for a shrouded hammer model 49.something that holds it securely.

I carry mine in a DeSantis pocket holster, or in a smartcarry, or in a 5.11 holster shirt, or a belly band...guess it sorta depends on where you want to carry it...

I want a belt or hip holster.but I want it to stay in there securely.I bought one of the clip IWB holsters and its not secure enough for me I want something that will lock it in place.

I don't own one of these, but I know 3 people who do, and they swear by them....

I have Blackhawk leather holsters, one for the strong-side with about a fifteen degree cant, and one for the weak-side that's at about thirty degrees for farther back, though not quite an SOB holster. The former has one slot and a tunnel for the belt, the latter has two slots, pancake style. Neither has any retention mechanism other than a tension screw.

Bianchi #55L Lightning is a good quality leather holster, however a j frame will not fit if it has an oversize grip, boot grip, or t grip. The thumb break fits over the trigger guard.

thanx for the reccomendations guys,highly appreciated.I want something thats concealable,and like I said secure.I dont want the worry of it falling out accidently while Im doing something,and I think from what Ive seen from your reccomendations,I found some winners.Im fairly new to the forum and the life expierence from you guys is priceless.

holsters are a personal thing.....and 100 people will have 100 choices, which is why people like me have boxes full of holsters in the basement....
