Didn't realize that I was running a "Deer Motel" Guess they must feel it is a safe neighborhood. Shucks I didn't leave the light on for 'em.

I have a doe a couple fawns and a little buck that hang out in my yard. Over grown lilacs mixed with chock cherries, crab apples, surround my place and they lay around under the overhanging brushes. I can walk with a few feet of any of them. Completely used to me.

Been thinking about putting in a toll gate in my backyard. Browsing, corn plots, apple trees, water everywhere. Sometimes they follow the dog and I around!

Wow! 2 nice big 3 y/o bucks getting along and hanging out together. Very odd. And with a doe in the background. Obviously it wasn't taken during the rut.

That’s the small buck in the background ......and the broad chested fellow has been around longer than three years. He has a gimpy hind leg.

My dream front porch would be a large front yard with those critters getting fat on all the shell corn my Social Security check would buy.
