52-2 DOB

Just picked up a nice 52-2. The S & W Catalog states that it was made between 1971 and 1993. I'm guessing 1982. Sound right?

You may want to post all or part of the serial#. According to my SCS&W 3rd, the serial#'s for 1982 started with A745001 and finished with A806933.
