Anyone ever run into this?

I was disassembling my 559 to repair the trigger play spring and I can't get the drawbar out of the rear frame opening.

I've stripped plenty of 3rd Gen pistols, all I've had to do is remove the trigger pin, remove the trigger plunger & spring, disengage the pawls on the trigger from the draw bar and pull the trigger down to clear the drawbar, and then the drawbar pretty much drops out when the frame is tipped back wards and if it doesn't it's easy to slip it out with your fingers.

On this 559, the drawbar slides back to the frame opening, but it will not drop down far enough to let the "fingers" at the top rear of the drawbar to clear the top of the rear frame opening, it looks like I would have to pry the rear of the drawbar down by at least 1/32" for it to clear, but the front end of draw is already firmly against the cutout under the barrel ramps.

I guess I could just ignore the broken trigger play spring and just put it all back together and live with it, but I'm really curious if any of you armorers or 'smith's have seen this and if so, what you did.

I've had to actually remove the trigger from the frame to get the drawbar to clear in many cases. Ah, you did remove the disconnector first?

Yes... the disconector is out, in fact the only things left in the frame is the trigger, drawbar and the sear spring.

The trigger is pulled down completely clear of the drawbar... the drawbar is free to move rearward. it just can't clear the rear frame opening. I'll try to take some pics of the situation.
