Went to the range today to test some new SD ammo, Winchester Ranger T. The Ammo shot great, fed like butter, and produced some great groupings of one jagged hole.

The 4566 did seem to shoot a little low, but not much. The 3913 was a little to the left, the 5906 right on. I found if I used the sights so the front sight dots equator was a little above the equators of the two back dots it did help make the point of aim true. Dont think it was me since the three did different things. Def. good enough to be my new SD round.

This was the first time I shot +p loads (9mm) and yes, they have some kick, but very managable in the smiths. Except for having to clean 3 pistols when I got home it was a nice time. (I hate to clean)

Winchester Ranger is our duty ammo.

I have to raise the front sight of my Melonite 4566 out of the rear notch a little too. Not much, just a bit. That is with the 230 grain RA45.

My 3913 shoots the 147 grain RA9T to point of aim. Great rounds the Ranger series. Regards 18DAI.
