5906 "Super 9" Information

Very nice and informative OP, but I think that I will stick with my ordinary 5906s until I get that winning lottery ticket. Thank you for the thoughtful post.

I purchased mine on 9 June 2000

I purchased mine on Gunfinder.net from Cliff & Janet Crippin from Hemlock MI. I've been thinking about selling it. Multiple barrels. I probably have the original case/box and maybe some ammo. I'd have to take a look.

New information in the original post sparked by the recent sale of Super 9 TDM9476. This serial number had a unique product code (148662), and had me diving into German websites for information on muzzle weights.

I was lucky to have acquired a Super9 at auction a few years ago at a nice price, but it only came with the 9mm Parabellum barrel. I managed to obtain a 356TSW barrel from Midway, but no such luck with a 9x21 barrel. Any recommendations where I might find a 5" 9x21 S&W barrel, or anyone with a spare 9x21 barrel looking to sell? Thanks in advance!

That is very cool. Thanks for sharing.

I had the opportunity to pick one up in 2010 for under $1100 with all three barrels. Two barrels remain wrapped in the original S&W paper. Pics attached.

Smith-Wesson forum no longer allows older original posts to be edited without going through a reporting process and having one of the admins make the updates. This method is a little cumbersome, so to make it easier to complete updates, I have mirrored the forum information onto a webpage. The original post will remain, but future updates will be made on the webpage only.

Thank you for this! Perfectly intriguing thread.

Serial number, TDM 9504, which was recently added to the original picture page, is an export/import as well.
