6" Model 34-1?

Picked up what appears to be a 1969-70 Model 34-1 that someone installed a 6" barrel on(probably from a model 35 as the rib is concave).
The result is a very cool 6" kit gun.
Has anyone else seen this conversion?
Is there a way to tell if the factory did it?

I LOVE it with the Smooth Target Stocks even if the barrel is wrong

Yes I've seen a few with barrel swaps.

You'll need to remove the grips to determine if the factory swapped the barrel. Then look for a star following the serial number on the butt and a date stamped on the left side of the grip frame near the 'toe'.

Had a mid 1950s .22/32 that had a 6" barrel...now is owned by another member here.

That's a nice I frame with modified front sight blade.

34-1 6in. with factory letter
also the ser.# 51422 is stamp on the cly.
