Just came across a 6" 35-1 with box and tools, appears to be essentially ANIB. Not being familiar with them, I looked it up in the SCSW4. Appears this is a 1970s era J-frame, a redo of the Model 34 22/32 kit gun from the 1950s.

Found this decade-old thread here illuminating them further:

Model 35-1 Info?

Looked at prices realized on GB, but there are only a couple and range pretty wide.

Any pricing opinions you more experienced fellows may provide are much appreciated -- thanks!

Model 35-1s are around but not all that easy to find. As described I'd say anything under $1200 is a good deal. I think I paid $775 for mine but that was eight years ago and without box/papers/tools. Pictures if you get it please.

An ANIB gun if as you describe could literally be a "sky is the limit" price wise. There just aren't that many to be found. Especially if it's in an on-line auction. I agree with 22hipower above for a fair price.

You should confirm that the serial number in grease pencil on the bottom outside of the box matches the gun.

What is the price being asked?

Do you want it or just think you can pick it up to flip? Be prepared to pay potentially 1K plus if accurately described. They don't sell quick - kinda like a model 43 but they will sell at the right price.

Go here. A little dated, but should give you some idea. Not a lot of changes that I am aware of.

As is life, prices are subject to the whim of the day.

I only kept one of the eleven that I owned. It is a 'special' one.
