610 Reissue

Waiting for the next 610 reissue for the 10mm and 40sw capacity. Just putting it out there.

10MM

I'd also like to see a 10MM, in an L frame.

I would prefer a 40 S & W in a 3-inch, 5-shot L frame as I think the 10MM might be a bit much for the L frame.

I would also like a 3-inch, .45 ACP in a 5-shot L frame sized revolver.

There was a 6-shot .40S&W L-frame - the Model 646. No reason the slightly longer 10mm cartridge couldn't also fit in an L-frame cylinder, but it IS a higher-pressure cartridge -- 37,500 psi for 10mm, vs. 35,000 psi for .40S&W, according to Wikipedia (interestingly, .357 Magnum is also spec'ed at 35,000 psi according to Wikipedia, and of course there are L-frames in .357 Magnum -- the 386, 581, 586, 619, 620, 681, and 686).

While I do have a Model 610(-3), I'd also love to see the 610 reissued (again).

My 610-5 is 3-7/16 with Precision fiber optic sights that fits my hand (and eye) perfectly.

It's one of my 2 favorite revolvers for ICORE and Steel Challenge.

Using the 10mm loads it destroys pins.

Love the 610 and like the idea of a smaller framed version as well, especially if it's a scandium frame.

A 310 with a 4" barrel would be awesome.
