Whats the going price of a 617 prelock 4 inch with combat grips box and all the paper work?
Looking to buy a 617 4" or 63 5" just for range practice.
I know the 63 is a lot lighter.
Any suggestions ?…..
6 shot or 10 shot ?? Either one would be $600 and up in my area.
10 shots seem to be in demand but, I prefer the 6 shot.
I have 2-4in 6 shot and 1- 6in 6 shot all prelocks W/ wood combat stocks and I wouldn't even consider selling them.
My 617 No dash family

The S&W wood combat grips alone are worth $150 so that is also a factor.
Really?
I came to re-join as I had a coworker who has an interest in buying mine and has offered $20 (which I had no intention for selling for that price anyway). I figures they were in the $40 range, guess I need to lurk a bit more to get caught up on S&W prices![]()

Your co worker isn't your friend if he knows what they are worth.
Thanks, Big Cholla. I haven't any data on the Winnie. I just have data on guns I own, used to own, or lust after. If you have historical data, I could create the chart but you could, too. I can show you how.5Wire: IMHO, you have WAY too much time to spare. .....
Wonderful presentation............ Could you do that analysis on Winchester Model 61s now? I have two to sell. ....... Big Cholla
