617-6

[finaltoy]

I recently purchased a new model 617 with a -6. 617-6.
It is SS, 4", 10 shot, round butt, and .22.
So just what have I got here with respect to the -6 designation?
Another thread indicated a "no dash" being most valuable.
I guess mine is the 6th change or version?
I look forward for any infromation.

Yes,yours is the sixth engineering revision.They are all good guns.Yours has aftermarket grips, and a little something done with the front sight.

and ps: I happen to have the same gun,also with aftermarket grips. ;-)
