617 No-Dash 4"

Hi folks,

Scored this beauty at the local show this past weekend.
It is a 617 no dash in the very hard to find 4 inch barrel.
It didn't come with box or the original combat grips but it was very clean and I just had to buy it.
Got it for $600 and considered that a very fair price for a gun that is never seen for sale around here. One of our own members here sold me a very nice set of combat grips for it and they are currently being shipped to me. Until they arrive , I stole the combat grips off of my 617 no dash 6 inch for a quick picture.

So here are a couple pictures. They aren't the best , but it was starting to rain so I had to hurry.

Those are factory s&w combat grips.
Watch the classified section here on the forum , they show up there often. They will cost you a pretty penny though.

Sweet!! That was a great find with an even better price tag. She is a real beauty! I never see any 17 or 617 or equivalent around my parts under $750. Enjoy

Smoking deal ! Really like the looks of the 6 shot cylinder over the 10. Gives it less of a pellet gun look.

This gun was for sale at the gun club for 750, I was gonna offer 700 but backed out cause I just didn't need it. Never thought It would sell for 600. Glad Twig got it. Looking for the blued version of this gun, a 17-6 4". Larry

I absolutely love S&W combat grips. The round butts are great, but I think the square butts have even more style. Wouldn't mind having a pair of them on my 17, but I already have custom Herretts for it. Your gun looks great with those combats.
