617 rear sight blade size

Looking for the rear sight blade size.

I assume you have the gun. Run the rear sight slide out all the way to the left then measure the height of the overhanging part using a dial caliper or micrometer, That is the height of the slide if you need to replace it for any reason. It is probably .146"

The reference sheet from S&W that I have shows;
617, 617-1 6" & 8 3/8" barrel .146
617, 617-1 4" barrel .136
