Installed a Wolff Type 2 main-spring / Wolff 13lb rebound spring / 0.500"
Hammer [ P# 293660000 ] & a 0.400" trigger [ P# 228700000 ].
Single action measures 3.52 lbs & Double action measures 8.45 lbs.
Will it go BANG ? Also replaced the stock strain screw with a SS 8x32 x 1/2" hex head set screw.
Range trip tomorrow.

I had no luck with reduced power main spring. Rebound spring lightened and worked fine. Let us know if it goes "bang" reliably. Thanks, Dave

I installed an 11 lb rebound spring in mine and backed off the strain screw by half a turn. I have a brick thru it now and encountered 2 rounds that needed a second strike to fire. Not sure what the trigger weights are but she's a real sweetie on the range.

Keep your original mainspring and swap the rebound spring.

Agree with keeping the main spring. I changed to a lighter main and got MANY light strikes. Stock spring back in place with the lighter rebound spring. All is good now and just the very occasional FTF due to the ammo, 2nd strike always fire them off though.

Keep your original mainspring and swap the rebound spring.
Agreed. Mine took a 15 lb rebound spring to function the way I like it. But now it's 10.5 lbs DA/3 lbs SA per my Timney gage. Keep the hammer spring strong. Light strikes are too common on rimfires.

120 rounds all went bang. All in DA. I was so happy I can't believe I forgot to try SA. Back to the range later in the week.
