Picked up a 624 with 6.5 inch barrel off Gunbroker this morning for 6 bills. Is the revolver market getting soft? Thought it was a good price.

Primary question is on the grips. Did they come with relieved targets? That's what this one has. Reason I ask is I have a 24-3 that had Magna grips if I recall correctly, at least when I bought it. Now wearing some custom grips.

Congrats on a fine revolver purchase, AND, at a very good price!! I have a terrible soft spot for the 624 and never secured one that cheap. Mine were all at least a three hundred more but did come with boxes, etc.

Three of mine came wearing checkered "Target grips" with the speedloader cut-out. They are 6", 6", and 4".

Only the 3" came with combat fingergrooves, at least in my instance.

Y'all take care, Bo

That's an excellent price for a 624! Congratulations!

The Models 24-3 and the 624 in 4" and 6-1/2" barrel lengths all came from the factory with checkered Target Stocks made of Goncalo Alves as original equipment. Magnas were never offered on these guns so if you have one with magnas they are not original.

...new to me in April of 1985.
6.5 inch.
Everything is as factory original.
Yet unfired.
