So I replaced my 5" barrel with a 4" barrel with interchangeable front sight. It's hitting about 6" to the left of center. I have the rear sight about 1/8" over the frame on the right side to center. Any ideas to correct this?

Is it possible that the replacement barrel is not screwed in enough to have the front sight vertical, as measured against the top of the frame and rear sight? In this case, the front sight would be "leaning" to the right, causing groups to tend to the left.

Can you take a nice photo from the back of the revolver looking towards the front? Two things come to mind:

1. Front sight not vertical, as has been mentioned, or

2. Barrel slightly canted. I've seen this several times, that the barrels were screwed in straight but somehow ended up canted to one side or the other. Probably bad threading.

If it was fine with the original barrel, then it seems strange that it suddenly away to one side without something being visible that is causing it.

Cheers!
