I have a 625-4 Model of 1989. It is marked:

BUD7226
MOD 625-4
337

Can anyone give me some info on what the markings mean? I appreciate it.

Welcome to the Forum

Your top number is the serial number. It will match the number on the butt of the revolver

The next line indicate this is the 4th engineering revision of the Model 625

The last line is an assembly number.

One or more folks will come along and ask you for pictures. . . . We love pictures here on the Forum

I will make a guess of sometime in 1994. Only a historical letter will give you the actual shipping date. The BUD7226 is the Serial Number, and the 625-4 is the Model Number, the 625 Engineering change 4. There were a couple versions of Commemorative's in the-4 change.

I can't tell you what the "337" means, but possibly assembly, inspector or fitter markings.
