625-8 JM revolver value

I sold one a week ago for $825 with Altamont Grips, the original grips, 25 clips and the demooner tool... It had the ugly forcing cone too but I put 700+ of very accurate rounds thru it. That included 100 .45Supers as well. The only problems were that every damned screw in the pistol backed out with .45ACP loads. It was only remedied by me putting Purple Loc-Tite on the yoke, side plate screws, strain screw, & cylinder release latch screw. I replaced the front Patridge sight as well because it popped out twice by simple presenting it from a belly band holster in practice... After that it was a nice pistol. I only sold it to get a 3" 629 in .44Mag that made a better "Woods Gun" than the .45 Supers can throw...

My 625-8 JM Special is one of my all time favorite revolvers. I have shot THOUSANDS of home cast bullets from mine. I have NO leading whatsoever. Accuracy is under an inch at 25 yards on demand.

I put a set of Pachmayer grips on mine, a Red Dot Sight and a set of JM matched set of springs. The cylinder throats, as issued are perfect for my standard .452" cast bullets. My bullets are cast of WW's + 2% tin.

Here's one of my better targets with the JM Special, standing 25 yards:

Here's my beauty:

Value? I consider mine dern near PRICELESS!(:>)).
