627-3 V-Comp Pre-Lock Question

Were all Pre-lock 627-3 V-Comps Jerry Miculek editions with an aluminum case or did some come in the standard blue box? Thanks.

From my understanding they made multiple runs of these, ones with the Jerry miculek prefix and then a later run, mine had a cfl prefix if I recall but it came with the performance center locking case. Mine was dated 01 I do believe.
