Pulled my 627 pro out from the back of the safe, dusted it off and ran it today in our monthly ASI match. Was fun shooting it today, has been months since I shot it last.

Came in middle of the pack with only 3 down. Reloading was smoother than I recalled using moon clipped 38s.

For those unfamiliar, ASI is a game similar to IDPA but more entry level. As an entry level action shooting game, there are no divisions, so I competed with all other guns. I shoot it in addition to IDPA as I figure more trigger time is always beneficial.

Fun day, reminded me how much fun it is to shoot an 8 shot N frame

Today I used my 627 in our local ICORE match. Has been a while since I used it, focusing on my GP100 for an IDPA sanctioned match that I participated in recently. It was fun using a moonclipped 8 shot for a change.
I did very well in all but the last stage where I tanked it. Needless to say, I’ll be shooting it more often in our ICORE matches- such a nice easy to shoot gun.
