hey guys i need some help being the noob that i am, i have a nother member here that wants to swap my 19-7 k-comp for his possible lew hornton 629-1. there is no box so how would one determine if it is or is not a lew horton gun, possibly by the serial prefix? if so what prefix would i be looking for, he says its ALD. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

shammy out!

Looking in the SCSW it says there was a M629-1 Combat Magnum made for Lew Horton in 1985. 3" barrel with RR front sight and WO rear sight, .312" smooth combet trigger and .400 semi-target hammer with Goncalo Alves smooth wood combat grips. 5000 made. But it says they had a "ANCxxxx" serial prefix.
You might contact Lew Horton with the serial number to be sure.
Hope this helps.

bama,
