629-4 info please

This revolver was bought unfired in the box 2 years ago and I just wanted to know if it was something special. The gun is in great condition and I have fired it maybe 100 times at most. What's it worth if I was to sell it?

Max Blue Book $700.00. Much less to a dealer. 1994 mfr.

I agree with M1A - had one similar that was factory mag-na-ported and sold it for $700 last year.

$800 plus in today's market IMO.
The blue book does not reflect the current frenzy on pre lock Smith revolvers.

My guess is it would sell quickly at $850 on the forum ,
Snub barrel N frames are the rage currently ( although I have no use for 44 mag shorter than 4" ) The 629 dash 3 or 4 was the high water mark for this model and might bring $1000 to the right buyer in a 7 day auction with good pictures and a fair reserve start.

I had a RSR Distributor, Magna Ported, 629-4. It sold for $1k. That was an offer, not an asking price.

I think at a local gunshow in Alabama that would bring $900-$950.
