I am in the market for a shoulder carry or bandolier for a S&W PC 629 with an Aimpoint sight. Any recommendations on models or custom makers?

Thank you, in advance.

I use both , for hunting I prefer the bandolier with a flap like the uncle mikes ? I don't use the belt loop on it so I can rotate it to my back to negotiate low fences or remove quickly for high fences or obstacles you want to take it off for . The flap is a benefit when the weather is wet or snowy . I use the scoped shoulder holster when grouse hunting or fly fishing . I carry scoped .22 & 44's depending what season is open .

I have a Mod 57 83/8 " with Bushnell Holosite (same size rig) and carry in the bandolier with flap and works great.Only problem is noise due to material.

I hunted deer for several years, successfully, with my Model 29 Smith with an 8 3/8" barrel in good weather and my Ruger Redhawk with 7.5" barrel. They both have two powered scopes on them. I used a Bianchi Hush System holster (accross the chest) rig in rough country without issue. I can recommend it without reservation. It is quickly adjustable for heavy or light clothing and with the optional flap offers full protection.

FWIW,
