629 cylinder swap question

I have a 629-2 with a non fluted cylinder. I am entertaining the thought of swapping cylinders for a fluted one before havig some custom work done.

Will any fluted 629 cylinder fit my -2 or do I need to stay within that dash number? Thanks

I would surely not do that. The non fluted cylinder makes your gun almost unique , while everyone has 629`s with fluted cylinders. Most owners of 629`s I have ever met salivate with lust at the prospect of obtaining a S&W 629 with an unfluted cylinder.
