629 Magnum Packer Pre-lock w/Bear

It has quad dual trapezoidal mag-na-porting? What do these run if you can find them?

I also own a 629 Mt Gun. What difference in blast/recoil would there be? I have never shot a ported gun

I have a Mountain Gun and a 3 inch ported Trail Boss. The porting does make it easier to shoot. My concern is the muzzel blast in low light - but I've learned its not much different than any othe rmuzzel blast.

I found an old listing finally. The one I found is $600 used but with case. Does that sem like a decent deal?

Compared to the one in the link $600 looks like a smokin deal. I don't think there are too many of these floating around, and its a pre lock model. A new standard 629 with lock is about the same $ as the one you're looking at.........
