629 no dash 6" P&R with Mint Boxes Price Check

I have the opportunity to buy a 629 pinned and recessed 6" revolver that is from the first production year. It has been lightly shot, has a mint wood presentation case with paperwork (the blue liner is degrading, not surprisingly), includes the original mint blue shipping box (with no logos/printing on it), the original cardboard shipping insert that kept the blue box from rubbing on the presentation case and took up the extra space in the shipping box, and the original outside cardboard shipping box with the white S&W label with the correct information filled out in pen glued to the end. Asking price is $1,500.

What do you think about this?

I'm not sure in today's market but it doesn't sound outrages for a two year only model before engineering changes.

Last year, I would have said keep looking( its crazy high )
Now, it still seems high just not crazy high.
Was in a shop earlier this week, they had a used ratty looking 5.5" Redhawk for 899, stopped in today and it was gone ,so I asked about it and the salesman said someone bought it...I was laughing as I was leaving.

About 300 high. I saw un-fired no dash 629 going for 1200.00
