nice, that's on my list of things to get. are you mounting a scope or just using iron sights?

I have the green and black (Birdsong) stealth from 1999. 629-5 this is one of my main deer hunting guns and the accuracy is amazing. At 50 yds (with scope) I can get sub one inch groups on a regular basis, when I do my part.

about a year ago i passed on one of those...it was new and priced at just over $700....i went back to get it but...at that price it was gone...:(

yeah, they are ported. thats the only part that i'm not a fan of and prob the only reason that i haven't already picked one up.

mine is NOT ported...when i looked at pics of the stealth hunter on the S&W website i too thought is was ported...but,it's not...the front sight is adj.and i think thats what is deceiving in the website photo's...just returned from the range...i sighted in at 25 yards...shot a bit low, made a few adjustments and in no time was banging the bull at this distance...moved over to the 15 yard range..same deal...more bulls...i really like the way the stealth hunter handles...i have other 44's but this guy is a welcome addition!!
