Ordered new spring .Don't know where original one went to. Never saw it . When I removed hammer the sear dropped out. Never saw a spring.
Question is how to install new one when you have size XXXl hands?

You need a piece of thin flat steel, so once the spring is in its hole you can press it down, get sear in place and then slip out the piece of steel. The end or a bobby clip arm, a cut down feeler gauge, etc. I struggle with it myself.

I considered epoxying it compressed in place, then once the sear was installed sitting it in a cup covered in acetone for a couple days and working it once in the while. That is a horrible spring to deal with. IMHO

I don't see any hole or locating pin in the hammer. Only a hole in the sear. Is that correct?

I see a hole in sear for retention but nothing in hammer

Put a drop of gun grease on the end of the spring that you insert into the hole in the sear. That will help hold the spring in place while you slip the sear and spring into the hammer.
