642 pro series

Does anyone know if the 642 pro will function without the moon clips or are they necessary for it to function properly

I have a 640 pro and it works both with and without moonclips. I imagine it's the same for the 642 pro.

Yes, it will function just fine. I carry my 442 with moonclips in the gun and speed strip for reload.
