If my wife hadn't asked me to stop at the grocery store on the way home from work, I would not have passed by the LGS. And if I hadn't, I would not have picked up this 645. $500 out the door, not a show stopping price, but any decent S&W in 45 caliber is worth that much, right guys?? Came with 3 magazines and a cheap inside the pants holster. Box and papers, but the box was a shoe box and the papers, tissue. Oh, and one hollow point cartridge in the shoe box.

Any tips on polishing out the small scratches on the slide without messing it up?

Every body needs a 645 and for $500 you can't go wrong. The scratches just give your smith character and you won't have to worry about scratching it yourself. Best of luck and enjoy your new toy.
