649 love

I took my CPL class this weekend, and took my 649 with me to the class, even thought I had never shot a single round through it. I kind of anticipated the recoil to beat me up a little after the 100 rounds I was going to have to fire, having never put that many rounds through such a small framed gun in one session.
I loved every round I put through it. It shot point of aim no matter where I put it. I was knocking down steel plates at 25 yards. I couldn't believe how much I like this little gun. And afterward, my hand didn't even feel as bad as shooting my xd40. Also quite a nice surprise.
I guess I'm just wondering why these Bodyguard .357's don't get the love the 340's and 360's get. Is it because they're the ugly stepsister or what?

FWIW I put 100 rounds of 130gr WWB 38 spl through it in just under 30 minutes of instruction as the shooting portion of the course

I am a big fan of the 649.
I own two, a 649-2 and a 649.
One of them usually goes along when I am out and about.
The 649s shoot better for me than my M38 or the Colt Cobra that I picked up some years ago.
They also come put of a pocket smoothly and allow thumb cocking if necessary. (I use it mostly at ranges over 25 yards).

Some folks prefer the looks of other J-frames but I have always like the Bodyguards.
