66-1 grip ?

GRIPS

YES THEY WILL FIT AS WILL ANY SQUAREBUTT K-FRAME, BUT I LIKE THE FLAT BOTTOM K-FRAME MAGNAS ON THE 66S AND 19S.

WHY R U YELLING!!!!!!

j/k......I completely agree with you. The smaller 10-7 grips may look a little strange on the 66-1.

The 2.5" model 66-1 is a round butt, the 4" and 6" are square butt. Usually the 2.5" came with Magna service stocks, and the longer ones with Targets.

Thanks Murphydog, it's a 6", so someday, she'll have the correct targets on her.

What murphydog said.

The picture below is a factory original 6" Mod. 66-1. They wear "football" targets most commonly in Goncalo Alves. A few were apparently shipped with the speed-loader cutout targets just prior to the P&R transitional period about 1982. You may want to provide a serial number to determine the manufacture date of your gun..

Called S&W...said gun was made in 1978-79 and probably came from the factory with coke bottle grips.

I'm assuming that's not the larger ones with the speed loader cut???
