Looking for a suitable 686 I found this nib 66-2 Alabama FOP presentation. It's a 1 of 55 1986 production run. I hate it but come Friday afternoon, this 32 year old safe queen will lose its virginity. Shooters only for me!!!

Shoot the sucker and enjoy it. Last summer I acquired a 1983 6" 66-2 Indiana State Police 50 year commemorative NIB and she got her cherry popped as soon as I got home with her. There will be a little smirk on my face as they are shoveling the dirt on me knowing I enjoyed it first!

I have a 66-1 Oklahoma City PD commemorative that was a safe queen that I couldn't leave like that. I can't stand having a gun that I haven't shot.

Very NICE!!! And YES, it was made to be fired. You are doing the right thing. I had 1 shotgun once that I bought used. It was unfired. Kept it that way. Got no enjoyment from it other than an occasional fondling. Have not done it since! Don't have it any more. Bob

Wow!!! There's something about these cherry revolvers....think I'm hooked!
1st shots thru the virgin,,,357 on left...38WC on the right.

ETA: 50 round targets pic, it's a six o'clock hold
