Does the 66-5 have the MIM hammer & trigger? How about the two-piece barrel system?

The 66-5 is a great smooth shooter; slightly heavier than earlier 66's due to untapered barrel. You'll like it.

My 66-5 has the same barrel profile of my HB 65 with the exception of the ejector shroud. Joe

I have several earlier 66's as well they all seem to shoot about the same. The earlier ones i have are pinned and recessed while the -5 is not. However it doesnt affect the shootability at all. I like em all.

I have a 66-2 4 inch and a 66-5 2 1/2. I like them both. The action is a little smoother on the 66-2 but not much. The MIM hammer doesn't bother me.

I have a 66-5 to, and it is a great little gun. I have only shot a few round down the tube and it keeps the safe good and warm.
