Hello all:
I own a Model 66-6 Performance Center with compensated barrel. I have used (but definetely not abused) this revolver. I used to carry it when working as a dog handler with a SAR team in the desert where .357 seemed the right choice.
The gun is in great shape, with some of the expected discoloration on the front of the cylinder. The gun has not been dropped or otherwise marked. It has a fantastic double action trigger pull. I've shot it sufficiently to get to know the gun (since I carried it) but have shot almost exclusively 38 special ammo. I doubt there has been a box of 357 through it.
My question for y'all is what - in your esteemed opinions - is the fair asking price (street value) for this weapon (assuming good condition, aluminum box, and custom holster from Tucker Gunleather included)?
Ball park value will help me greatly.
