Debating on a S&W 66-7 in about 90% condition. I like the look of this snub, I'm sure it's a solid gun. Any thoughts on $480 out the door - decent? Average? Just curious. Thanks!

I saw a 66-2 with a 4" barrel on consignment today for $699. they also had a 66-1 2.5" snubbie for the same price. I may go back and get one or the other. I think your $480 isn't bad at all.

I think that is an excellent price. If you don't want it, someone else definitely will. I have four K Frames ranging from a 66-2 to a 66-8. I would not turn another one down at that price.

Sounds like a great deal, on a gun that you might not see again for a while. I would expect to see a $700 price tag, if anything like that was to miraculously appear in this area. The last K snub I saw locally was about a year ago. It was a 19-5, in 90+% condition. $600 asking. Ended up going home with me at $540 OTD. I thought I made a pretty good deal.
You're in the same ball park, a year later, with prices climbing, steadily.
Buy it now! Someone here will take it off your hands at better than that price, if you change your mind later, which you won't, 'cause the subs are a hoot to shoot!
