Took my 66 no dash with all stainless sights to the range the other day. I had some trouble seeing the sights when the clouds rolled in. Does anyone sell something to put on the front sight that will come off easly? Is this a good idea?

Model paint works well.
You an use most any color, or just paint it flat black.
The paint comes off easily with a toothbrush and some lacquer thinner.

If you want temporary, just for the range, you can blacken the sights with a target shooters carbide light, or they make a spray on substance in cans.
Both deposit a sooty, dead black coating on the sights that eliminates glare.
Both simply wipe off when you're done shooting.

I use Liquid Chaulk on my front sights. It is used for making commercial signs. Comes in many colors, and is in a marker form. It stands up to any cleaners I have tried. Comes off easily with Windex. (ammonia)
My shooting buddy critisizes the hot pink that I use! If anyone wants some, PM me, and I can give you supplier. Bob
