681 First L Frame

That's a very cool and handsome firearm. Sweet ressurection.

Thanks everyone! I will keep my eyes peeled for some grips and I'll update with what I settle on, hopefully before another years passes. I have and enjoy the Magnas on my HP that goes to the range once a decade. That one had a Mershon grip adapter that I don't really care for but I've never tried a Tyler T

Check out eBay. I just picked up a really nice set of PC magnas for about $35. Those are exactly what you need for your gun. By the way, nice results on your gun. The 65-3 that I had previuosly posted, took me over a year to complete, but that wasn't' t working on it every day. Many times I just had to step away from it for a while, but the final results were well worth the effort. Don't know that I'd ever do it again, but it was a fun project! ;)

It looks great!

Well done!

I've been looking for a 681 for years (as I really want one or two), but haven't been able to find any, in my area.

MUCH WORK, AND LOVING IT!

VERY nice work, glad you kept it huh? There's just something about them (fixed sights???) that appeal to me. My no dash was polished so much many people think it's nickeled. It's a shooter. Happy as a pig in (mud)? ;)

KEN L - I love seeing your 65-3! But it is missing since Photobucket's hijinx... any possibility of fixing that for us? It belongs in this thread! And because I'll be picking one up this week

nachogrande - you know we all love pics, right?

And that was before all this photo bucket foolishness. I'm trying to get the wife to take pics & post em for me, so far. :( Don't hold your breath unless you look good in blue.
